Pune, November 14 The VHP claims investigations by the state Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) into Malegaon blast case are biased. “The ATS is trying to link the suspects in the Malegaon blast case with the blasts at Nanded, Parbhani and Jalna, files of which were closed long back. We find no reason other than vote-bank politics (of the government) behind the move,” alleged Babuji Natekar, leader of the Western Maharashtra unit of the VHP at a press conference here on Friday. He added: “Abdul Karim Telgi named some top political leaders during his narco test. Police never interrogated them. If the government believes narco test produces false results, why are Sadhvi Pragya, Lt. Col Purohit and other suspects being subjected to narco tests repeatedly?" Natekar announced a nationwide agitation against injustice to Hindus and said a rally would be organised in Pune on November 23. Mahant met Purohit in city, reveals probe Meanwhile, Pune police would seek custody of Malegaon blast suspect Sameer Kulkarni to investigate if he was involved in the attack on Pastor Silway of the Vineyard Church in Bopodi on August 25, 2007. Kulkarni, a resident of Chinchwad, was the pointman of Abhinav Bharat in Bhopal. Abraham Mathai, General Secretary of All Indian Christian Council, had demanded police action against Kulkarni and four others. Police are likely to take Kulkarni into custody on Tuesday.
