CHENNAI: Looking at the tremendous pace of infrastructure development and construction activities in the country, Pune Construction Engineering Research Foundation (PCERF), an NGO working in the interest of infrastructure and construction industry, is organising `Constro 2007', an exhibition on the construction industry.
Addressing presspersons here on Saturday, J. P. Shroff, Convener (marketing committee) of Constro 2007, said the exhibition, to be held in Pune from November 28 to December 2, will have more than 200 booths with cluster pavilions for overseas participants. Over two lakh visitors and more than 10,000 professionals are expected to visit the event, Mr. Shroff said.
Special features
According to Vishwa Kumar Badwe, past Chairman of the organising committee of Constro, the exhibition will have special features for products and services relating to malls, multiplexes, IT parks, and intelligent homes. The exhibition would generate business of more than Rs. 1,000 crore, he said.
