Maharashtra Industrial Devlopment Corporation Ltd

Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is the primary industrial infrastructure development agency of the Maharashtra Government. Constituted under the Maharashtra Industrial development Act 1961, MIDC was established on 1st august, 1962, with the basic objective of setting up Industrial areas with the provision of industrial infrastructure for all state for planned systematic industrial development.

           MIDC has played a vital role in the development of Industrial Infrastructure in the state of Maharashtra. MIDC lives up to its motto ‘Udyamat Sakal Samruddhi’.

  • Development of industrial areas by acquiring the land.

  • Preparing layout with suitable grouping of plots of various sizes and allotment of plots on leasehold basis.

  • Construction of roads, draining system and provision of streetlights in the industrial areas.

  • Planning, Implement ting and managing water supply schemes.

  • Establishing common facility centers by providing accommodations for bank post offices, telecom facilities, police station, fire station, medical facilities, canteen etc.

  • Establishment of effluent collection and disposal systems for chemical zones.
