The area where the office of Daily News Paper 'Kesari' is situated is known as Narayan Peth. In 1773 Narayanrao Peshwa had build Narayan Peth when he was in Power. Narayan Peth's Gaikwad Wada is the place where Lokmanya Tilak had started the daily news Paper called Kesari, this Place is now known as 'Gaikwad Wada' or 'Kesari Wada'. Recently renovation of the Wada has been done where you can see the big Library and exhibition of the objects used by Lokmanya. Now a days you can find a big stationary, printing and Paper market in 'Narayan Peth'. Sambhaji Bridge or Lakadi pool (bridge) and Kesari Office are some famous places over here.
