Royal Orchid Hotels Limited (ROHL) is set to launch its 10th business property, Royal Orchid Central, in Pune. Set up with an investment of around Rs 20 crore, the four star business hotel will be operational by mid January 2008.

“Targeted at business clientele, Royal Orchid Central Pune is a business hotel with all modern amenities for clients. Facilities like WiFi connectivity, a laptop, ironing board and mini bar are available,” says Chender Baljee, Chairman and Managing Director, Royal Orchid Hotels. The property is in close proximity to the airport, railway station and Pune’s commercial area.

The new hotel has a banquet hall ‘Teakwood’ with conferencing facility; a conference room, ‘Maple’; a shopping arcade and a fitness hub. With an inventory of 115 rooms, the hotel will also have three restaurants. These include a 24x7 coffee shop ‘Pinxx’ with 100 covers and a lounge bar with 50 covers. It also has an open air, candle-lit terrace restaurant with 150 covers, which incorporates a bar and grill.

The four star property is the second ROHL property in Pune, after the Royal Orchid Golden Suites. The management and ownership of The Royal Orchid Central Pune will be retained by ROHL.
