As Nadir Shaikh, executive chef, Le Meridien, showed the secrets of some delicious recipes, food lovers were held spellbound. The visitors loved the spread and the ambience; and by the time it ended, everyone was left with a lovely taste in their mouths. At the second stop of this journey, visitors got to savour great food at restaurants Mainland China and Flags. Not only that, the chefs parted with their culinary secrets as well. At Flags, it was an elite gathering primarily consisting of women who thoroughly enjoyed Gambas Pil Pil, a starter made with prawns, the Greek salad, and the main course Paprikash. Chefs Victor and Babulal fielded questions that came in quick succession. There were many youngsters, especially catering students, as eager to master the culinary skills of the chefs as the elders. Said Tejaswini Khare, a hotel management student, “I’m so glad we came here. Imagine knowing the secret recipe from Mainland China! I can’t wait to try these at home.” Minu Goyal said, “I love cooking and learning different dishes. So, I was really happy learning new things today. And, the tips the chef gave were the best part about today’s show.” A great show indeed!
