Tech Mahindra will ramp up Pune operations

Tech Mahindra is going the Infosys way. After the software bellwether declared that Pune would be its largest development centre in the country with a headcount of over 23,000, Tech Mahindra is all set to expand too.
An 8,000-seat delivery centre will go operational from August. The new delivery centre is being set up on 35 acres of land bought by the company in phase III of the Infotech Park at Hinjewadi.

Tech Mahindra is a global systems integrator and business transformation consulting firm focused on the communications industry.
The centre will seat 8,000 people, Rajesh Chandiramani, general manager (marketing) Tech Mahindra told DNA. The investment for the first phase is Rs 300 crore, he said.
This year we have recruited about 5,500 new employees who would be directed to Hinjewadi, said a company official. Tech Mahindra has about 8,000 people in Sharda Centre at Erandwane and Vimannagar.
