Pioneer of “Solo Trekking / Climbing” technique in Sahyadris and Indian Himalayas.
Study visit to more than 250 Sahyadris hill/sea/ground Forts in Maharashtra and other 50 forts in other parts of country.
Climbed no of Pinnacles including Lingana (Matter-horn of Maharashtra) Solo without using any equipment. (Till dates record is unbeatable)
Leader / Organizer of six peak expedition to Manali Himalayas in 1988. (Summitter / successful expedition)
Member of Indian Air Force & Indo Tibet Border Police joint ski down expedition of Mt Nun-Kun in 1988. (First of its kind in country) (Reached till the height of 21500 feet)
Leading Climbing Member of Joint Indo Tibet Border Police & Indian Air Force Mountaineering/Ski down expedition to Mt. Satopanth (7015 Meter) in June-89. (Tried summit attempt but due to very bad weather and despite of best climbers couldn’t summit but reached till 22000+ feet)
Leader – Organizer of “Mt Srikailash” 6990 Meters expedition in 1990. (Due to one members sickness left the summit at 6890 meters – short of 100 meters only)
Liaison Officer with Scotland Team in 1990.
Selected Member of Pre Everest “Mt Bhrugupanth expedition in 1990 but due to lack of leave could not join the expedition but supported the expedition.
Selected for First Indian Civilian Expedition to Mt Everest in 1992. But could not participate due to lack of fund / permissions from Air Force authorities.
Leader / Organizer of “Mt. Kamet / Abigamin” (7756 Meters) expedition in 1991. (Successful expedition on Mt Abigamin) (smallest expedition till date)
Leader / Organizer of India’s First Solo “Mobike-Climbing” expedition to Mt. Bhagirathi-I in 1992 but due to very bad weather returned back from Tapovan area. (Traveled on Motorcycle from Mumbai to Gangotri alone)
Member of World’s first Motorcycle Rally from Delhi to Khardung la with Services team in 1994. (World Record Event) (Services Himex Rally)
Traveled Solo on Bullet Motorcycle throughout the India from 1988 to 2003. (Approx 2.5 Lac Kms.)
Chief Technical coordinator for India’s first of its kind event of mountaineering demonstration on South India’s Highest 25 storey building (Utility Building-339 feet) on 15th Aug 1997 in Bangalore.
Organized India’s First Only Girls Mountaineering demonstration programme on south India’s tallest building in Bangalore on 15th Aug 1998.
First time in the world, done successful Mountaineering demonstration on Asia’s highest waterfall “Jog Falls – 960 feet” in 1997. (Asian Record)
Done River crossing of River Kaveri’s very dangerous George at Muttati on Tamilnadu-Karnataka Border to spread the message of “to save the Nature for your survival” in 1998-99.
Explored the unknown adventure destination in Karnataka / Andhra and Kerala and performed / conducted the adventure demonstration at all the places.
Organized Everest Base camp trekking programme for Karnataka participants in 1998 to support 1998-Indian civilians Everest expedition under the banner of Karnataka Mountaineering Association, Bangalore.
Extensive swimming in Arabian / Hindi Sea and in all-important rivers of country.
Bungee jumping in Bangalore (first time in India). (in 1999)
Done 500 feet Ultimate Bungee jump in Nepal in 2001. (India’s First)
Done 130 feet of “catapulting jump” (ground to air jump) & Bungee jump at Pune in 2003.
Done/conducted Dirt Biking/Quad biking for Shri Anil Ambani’s son in 2004.
Done & organized all types of aero-sports activities like Para Gliding, Para Sailing, Power Hang Gliding and Hot Air Ballooning at Meerut, Lonavala, Pune, and Bangalore. (Have a sound knowledge but not qualified)
Done & organized white water rafting, Jet skiing and other water sports in India.
Introduced ‘Coasteering” (exploration of sea cliffs/caves and cracks) activity in India at Hedvi by exploring ‘Baman Ghal’ in 2002.
Personally handled almost all the major events for adventure/outdoor activities like Mrs. World Beauty contest-05, Olympicians event, and worlds topmost celebrities during seven years of serving period in Amby valley.
Besides Adventure done no of projects like Wildlife Rehabilitation project / Fort restoration cum development project-Korigad, Circus project, Tourism Projects, Sea Beach Project etc For Amby valley project in 07 yrs.
Wood smoke Survival School, U.K. , approved India’s first primitive Survival education course for U.K. youths in 2006, which will be commenced in India in 2008.
Social Achievments:
Conducted no of educational camps in outdoor education & Adventure fields for Pune-Mumbai—Panvel – Karjat – Khopoli – Delhi – Bangalore – Chennai schools from 1988 to 2004.
Worked very actively for topmost clubs of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi clubs and trained no of experts.
First Maharashtrian “Life Member” of Karnataka Mountaineering Association, Bangalore.
Conducted first time on individual level India’s first Inter State Youth Exchange Festival (Karnataka- Maharashtra).
Organized outdoor education camp for blinds on Fort Raigad and made them rappel the “Takmak Tok”. (First time)

Named both sons as a “Nisarga” and “Sahas”, to show the devotion towards these activities. Trained them and they are working as a voluntary demonstrator cum asst Instructor for no of demos / camps.

Extraordinary Feature:
The only Adventurer who is an expert/experienced in all type of adventure activities including Mountaineering, Rock climbing, trekking, Fort study, Nature study and conservation, water sports, Motor racing and expeditions, aero sports activities and survival techniques. Same time using all his skills to train the city as well as rural Maharashtrian/Indian youth/student to enable him/her to develop the Leadership skills and Team building exercises.
Future Plans:
Trying to establish India’s first “Adventure Academy” and ‘outdoor education centre” in the Sahyadris to enable Indian youth to be a true Leader of our Universe and as a career center in these fields.
